“Ah, you have tricked me,” I said with an embarrassed smile. “Surely, you will not mean to have this work in your home.”
“On the contrary, all the more reason! You are a prodigy, and anyone would be proud to have this in his home,” he said. He had turned back to the painting, and I was able to better observe him. I realized he must have been a great deal older than I first thought—for one thing, he used reading spectacles, and for another, upon closer inspection I could see a sprinkling of grey in his brown hair and even more in his beard.
He seemed very interested in the painting, almost as though he’d forgotten about me, and a pang of disappointment struck me. Well, he was quite mature; possibly almost forty, and a good man. Naturally he would think me very young and foolish. I knew he was not married—he was the bachelor friend of the Morettis, I had heard—but that had nothing to do with anything.

I've raided the Three of Swords part of your gallery with my morning coffee and I'm really thrilled to have found it, as I said before. Your illustrations are so striking with detail, lighting, fashion, atmosphere and liveliness. Anyone could tell there's a story behind it and the figures are characters not simply designs. While you're more historically accurate, what I write is heavily Victorian-inspired (not steampunk, I have to note) and so I love it that much more. I've been dying for scenes from the actual novel and stories but since I can't draw and can only commission, it's a money issue. I love seeing fiction come alive with words more than anything but sometimes when it's before your eyes it's a special treat. Many people depict this era's fashion and sometimes settings way too drab, very happy you don't. I really want to feature and promote your work, I'm in love with it. I'll like you on FB as Dramira's page and my side-one besides my personal profile. Whenever I do a feature on here (not active like I used to be) you will be included for sure. I'm so unsatisfied with the lack of attention these works are getting. You're offering so much to be adored and appreciated. I hope to read your novel soon. Also, please forgive any spelling and grammar mistakes. Like I said, morning coffee...totally not at my most efficient.
